We do not accept every item that becomes available to us. Each piece is considered individually and selected according to:

• Cleanliness and presentation
• Functionality, where applicable
• Suitability for resale
• Value for our customers

Our collection primarily focuses on pieces in excellent or very good condition. Items showing excessive wear, significant damage, persistent odours or problems affecting their safe or intended use will not normally be offered for sale.

Every item is examined before it is listed. Depending on the type of product, we check areas such as:

• Fabric, seams and lining
• Buttons, zips and fastenings
• Soles, heels, straps and handles
• Pockets and internal compartments
• Signs of fading, bobbling or stretching
• Marks, stains, repairs or alterations
• General structure and functionality

As second-hand items have been previously owned, small signs of use may occasionally be present. These do not necessarily reduce the usefulness or beauty of a piece, but they will be considered when determining its condition and price.

We use consistent condition categories across our collection:

New with tags
Unworn, with the original retail tags still attached.

New without tags
Appears unworn, but the original retail tags are not attached.

Excellent condition
Very lightly worn or used, with no notable flaws identified during inspection.

Very good condition
Shows minor signs of previous use but remains attractive, functional and well presented.

Good condition
Shows visible signs of previous use, which are reflected in the photographs, description and price.

Condition assessments involve reasonable personal judgement. We therefore support them with clear descriptions and photographs wherever possible.

Items are prepared according to their material, care instructions and individual requirements.

Where appropriate, clothing may be washed, steam-treated, gently refreshed or carefully presented before photography and dispatch. Some materials and specialist garments cannot safely be treated using ordinary cleaning methods.

We will not claim that an item has been professionally dry-cleaned, sanitised or treated unless this has genuinely taken place. We recommend washing or cleaning pre-owned items according to their care labels and your personal preferences before use.

Items must pass our cleanliness and presentation checks before being offered for sale.

We believe an informed customer is a confident customer.

Any noticeable mark, repair, alteration, missing component or sign of wear identified during inspection will be described and, wherever practical, photographed. The price will reflect the item's overall condition.

We never intentionally conceal an imperfection. However, because our products are pre-owned and inspected individually, a very small or unobtrusive sign of previous use may occasionally be missed. If you believe an item differs materially from its description, please contact us so that we can help.

We aim to represent every item as accurately as possible.

Lighting and screen settings can affect how colours appear. Measurements are taken manually and should therefore be treated as approximate.

We do not digitally alter photographs to disguise damage, change an item's condition or misrepresent its colour, shape or appearance..

We aim to protect your purchase while avoiding unnecessary packaging.

Where suitable, we may use recyclable, recycled or carefully reused packaging materials. Reused packaging will only be selected when it is clean, secure and appropriate for the item being sent.

We encourage customers to reuse or recycle packaging whenever local facilities allow..

Where relevant, we examine brand labels, construction details, materials, hardware and other identifying features. We will only describe an item using a particular brand when we reasonably believe that description to be accurate.

Unless explicitly stated, our pre-owned products have not been authenticated or endorsed by the original manufacturer. For selected designer or higher-value items, additional verification may be obtained where appropriate.

We will never knowingly offer a counterfeit item for sale. If we cannot establish sufficient confidence in a branded product's identity, we will not list it as authentic.

Prices are based on factors including brand, condition, quality, desirability and comparable second-hand market values.

We will only quote an original retail price when it is known or can be reasonably verified. Otherwise, we may provide broader price context without presenting an estimate as a confirmed fact.

Our purpose is to offer genuine value—not misleading savings claims.

Most products in our ReLoved collection are unique, with only one available. An item is not reserved until the purchase has been completed, and availability can change quickly.
